This year, Vinje Lutheran is offering First Communion Instruction as part of a full-day retreat at Green Lake Bible Camp on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 9am-4pm.
We trust that you, as a parent, know when your child is ready to receive Holy Communion. This particular instruction is geared toward elementary students in Grades 2nd-6th, but if you feel that your child is ready, we welcome students who are Kindergarten and up (and older students, too!). The retreat fee of $75 will be covered by Vinje.
If your child participates in this instruction, their First Communion will be celebrated as part of worship both on Sunday, March 17, and/or Wednesday, March 20, as part of our regular worship services.

You will also have to fill out this registration form for Green Lake to give permission for your child to participate.
